Kooyong Tennis Club in September is the venue for our next Networking Matters breakfast and bookings are now open. As a result of the feedback from our last breakfast, we are repeating our segment with elevator pitches. We gave people the opportunity to stand up and spruik their business for 30 seconds.
The feedback we received from attendees following the breakfast was resounding. People are keen to promote their organisation to others. So come prepared with your elevator pitch because we will connect you with like-minded business people.
Further feedback included people’s appreciation of being offered the opportunity to be introduced to businesses within their sector. For instance some attendees had specialised skill sets which were in demand. Experience in sourcing capital finance was one such area. Another was in grant writing.
The Kooyong Tennis Club provides the perfect backdrop for an early morning networking event. The breakfast room overlooks the manicured lawn courts. These have been described as the “spiritual home of Australian tennis”. Kooyong has a wonderful feeling of tradition. Indeed the friendships forged on the tennis courts mirror the strong connections often found in business.
Laurie Serafini is your emcee once again. Chris Mirabella and Maureen Hegarty and the team from Communus are your hosts for the morning. So come along and enjoy this unique opportunity to meet and be connected with our network.
