Narelle Glynn knows many things about buyers advocacy in the residential property market. As Founder of Hunter Advocates, she is one of the 5% of Buyer Advocates working in the Australian market. However unlike Europe and America, buyers agents are a relatively new phenomenon in Australia. These agents aim to assist buyers from “search to settlement”. In other words, the buyer’s agent seeks the best deal for their client, the buyer.
Points of difference
“The data driven analysis we use informs the buyer and protects them as well. Therefore, at Hunter Advocates, buyers advocacy guides everything we do. For instance we start with a detailed client brief and move with client through each step of the process.” Narelle has a long and varied work history in the finance, hospitality and property sectors. Because of this, she is skilled at working with people to understand their property priorities.
Narelle’s podcast is available now. She shares her insights into the current Melbourne property boom. In addition, Narelle will also be joining us at our next Networking Matters Business Breakfast.
“Without data you’re just another person with an opinion.” However without data analysis, your data is not much use. The points of difference with Narelle’s approach at Hunter include her review and analysis of each property sector. In addition to this she moves with her clients through each step of what is often an emotional journey. Above all, she doesn’t move forward unless her clients are ready to do so.
Along with Gary Denson, Colin Robinson and Mark Rice, Narelle will join our Q&A panel on Friday 10 September.
